We contacted Penn Valley Engineering, who came highly recommended to us, and Greg came out to inspect the issues that very same day. He also drafted up a detailed structural report with recommendations for repair within 48 hours for us to give to the seller. We also received excellent advice from Brad Baker who went above and beyond to help us navigate some difficulties we encountered with the seller of the home in regards to repair of the structural issues and other contractual issues. We have already recommended Penn Valley Engineering to other family and friends and will continue to do so. High quality work and genuine people are a rare combo to find now a days but that is what you will get with PVE.

At the actual inspection, Greg walked me through every detail of the structural issues of the house and the potential remedies, and even pointed out a couple of other things the general home inspector had missed. After the inspection, Brad called me right away to go over what we'd learned and make sure I understood what we needed to do with the information with regard to negotiating with the seller.
